Well Well....I am back home for a week and I think I am suffering from some post syndrome from the trip. Apart from the fact that I am speaking lesser singlish, I started to think of the time during the last week in Taiwan.
    .
    With the kids....
    .
    Some last photos taken
    .
    the gifts made
(I am touched by the action of arthur (orange shirt)). I was browsing through his set of photos that was developed by his form teacher and he just gave me one of the nicest photos taken. Well , and Hong Fuqin ( white shirt) just blamed me for 没有心,有心就应该留两年, 不是两个月。(henry 老师也想。。。)
    .
I will miss the familiar corners of the school...
    .
    The teachers and staffs...
    .
    And yes, the 水蜜桃。。。
    .
霞云国小 - a school that gave me memories that I can bring back home. Sometimes I cant help to chuckle over the funny questions by the kids ,
    unimaginable actions by the kids
wide big laugh by the kids
    有学生才有学校,
because of the kids, life up here in the mountain is made exciting and fun.
A worthwhile trip definitely. ( though I wish there will be salary - then probably i can stay through the summer with them).
    .
This trip was also an opportunity to acquaint friends from different countries. Not just Taiwan , but Malaysia , India and Holland.
    .
Good - at least next time if I ever go Holland or India or Malaysia or Taiwan, there is someone to look for to play a host for my trip.
Too bad I have to leave early for the job application , otherwise I can join them to have a great time at 垦丁
    .
    The final week....

    .
    I enjoy this trip.
The adrenaline rush to venture into the foreign land
The opportunity to immerse in the culture of others
    The experience of independence
The feeling of not being accountable to anyone but just yourself
The moment that you dont have to think about what's back home and just take your time to enjoy the breeze.
    .
Next Stop, I will want to backpack to London , or even entire europe (if $$$ drops from the sky)
Travel to exotic places like Greece or even eastern europe like Croatia
Yes, I am still dreaming of Maldives from time to time.
Any part of the world I not been before, yes , Mr henry wanna pay you a visit.
(I shall start planning my work leave and savings...)
    .
    Goodbye Taiwan!
    .

Fei : Holland gal - try to spot it yourself.haha. Try Facebook.haha

Jerica : I am missing the food there now....makes me hungry by looking at my own blog

Clare: Now when I look back my blog - it really makes ppl hungry. And stop calling me "heng-lui" I dont owe you $$$
lyn : I wish $$ can drop from the sky....

Post #3 : Stupid phone, Stupid Sony Ericsson
    .
Well, my phone is already spoilt before my trip. Upon sending it for repair, they gave me a very "lao-pok" replacement phone with limited space to store my contacts phone number. So meanwhile I dont have the numbers of all my contacts, only for the top 100 names that was first saved in my phone will be seen. The rest is all unknown..... What's worse is that SE failed to deliver my phone within the promised date they agreed earlier on. So now, I have to survive with the "lao-pok " phone for another 1 more week.....
    .
I shouldnt have trade in my nokia phone....
    .
    .
    Convocation coming soon. 27 Jul.
Feel nothing special though coz it is just a ceremony.
Probably the slight tinge of excitement will be wearing the grad robe, ever since kindergarden.
now must find $$ to take the family potrait - probably amount to around 500.
And to end the convo blues, I glad that I am attending it with a job on hand.
    yes, I am employed finally.
    .
    After many resume editing
    crafting MANY cover lettersssssssssss
sending in so so many applications
many stressful numerical & verbal tests
assessment centre - case discussions , case presentations
    rejection
    rejections
    rejectionss
    and uncountable rejectionssss
finally I landed in that one job with NTUC Income.
I still waiting for more details after the contract signing.
    .
    so yah, I am employed - yeah!Thank God :)

    Hectic days | 10:21 PM
The NBS retreat is great as we come to a consensus to some of our school core values, namely

    Leadership
    Confidence
    Integrity

Thanks to P.sponsor whom provide us with such a great venue and food for the event. Have a great time interacting with the fellow peers in the school as we envision the directions for the various student's club.
Unfortunately, ade lost her phone and spoiled her mood for the rest of the night.

For those whom have picked up a white sony erission phone at the swimming pool of Coast Sand Pasir Ris, pls kindly return back to the owner.(haha, though it's unlikely that will happen that you will see the appeal in my blog)

Finally the 6 week of winning formula is over. Think about those time that I need to rush down from my comms class to the 4 hrs lesson. But after the dinner at Meritus hotel on monday, the things I get out from it is so much more than the tiredness I experience.

Winning formula change my perspective of how important is one's attitude. This course is more than just teaching you how to look good on the outside in terms of grooming and dressing, but more importantly, is how you can bring out the attitude as you deliver. The attitude in believing your capability ( I still believe that it's God who give me the capability and strengths ) , the attitude to learn and not being over-confident.

I can still remember vividly what ceceilla ,the trainer has said.
Don't dress to be someone who is working in Shenton Way, dress like someone who is in Wall street!

It's about exceeding expectation, not just meeting expectation.

The dinner also touch on Western dining and Ettique, which is a eye opener for me.
Here are some pointers (some incentives if you are reading my blog...haha)

    1. The guest should not start eating until the host begins
    2. You are not supposed to Dip the bread into the soup !!!
    3. A fork is meant to be a fork, not spoon. Meaning you cannot scoop peas or rice with a fork.
    4. The way you position your utensils tell a lot of meaning
    and more.....

    Some photos...
